We are delighted to announce we, Remnant & Co. and Filmmaker Kazuki Fujimoto, Kyoto-based creative team, will be traveling to New York City this September to participate in New York Textile Month 2025, presenting a cross-disciplinary showcase of Japanese artistry through textiles, calligraphy, film, and hands-on cultural workshops.
A Rare Encounter with the Edge of Creation
We invite textile and art enthusiasts to join SALVAGE & SELVAGE—a deeply meditative exploration of craft, nature, and legacy. Experience the visionary spirit of Kyoto’s Akihiko IZUKURA, celebrated for his mastery in natural dyeing and handwoven silk, through a rare exhibition and the U.S. premiere of the documentary ENUNDO -Circles of Motion-, directed by Kazuki Fujimoto (Mont Film).
This event offers a rare opportunity for American audiences to engage with a Japanese textile legacy that blends sustainability, innovation, and artistry.
Press coverage, interviews with organizers, and high- resolution images are available upon request, and we welcome you to join the workshop and screening.
