An engaging illustrated talk by Dr. Michael Mamp (of LSU) on the artist, textile and fashion designer Ethel Wallace, who was based in Greenwich Village in New York City in the 1910s-1920s and who was part of the vibrant artistic community, dressing many avant garde women. The collection of Walter and Lucie Rosen contains two nearly-identified rare examples of Wallace’s work, which are displayed as part of the 2024 Focus Tour: Women Artists in the Rosen House (May 24- August 18, 2024).
