This inspiring exhibition pays homage to the innovative spirit and boundless creativity of educators across the Midwest. Hosted in conjunction with the 14th annual Midwest Fiber Art Educators Network Conference, this exhibition features artwork that offers a compelling glimpse into the innovative spirit of Fiber Art and Textile Design.
From intricate weavings to avant-garde textile sculptures, each artwork reflects the educators’ commitment to pushing the limits of the field. Through their efforts, they inspire students to explore the limitless possibilities within Fiber Art and encourage a spirit of experimentation and inquiry.
This exhibition is co-curated by: Heather Macali, Associate Professor, Fashion & Fibers at Wayne State Jeremy Noonan, Professor, Section Lead of Fiber and Textiles at College for Creative Studies Joey Quiñones, Artist in Residence, Head of Fiber at Cranbrook Academy of Art
Opening Reception: Friday, November 8, 4-7 p.m.

Free parking is available the evening of the reception at the CCS Woodward open air lot, located on Baltimore St between Cass and Woodward. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm-6pm.
