Poor Things: The Costumes

The exhibition gives the Benaki Museum audience the opportunity to enjoy twelve of the original handmade costumes by Oscar-winning and BAFTA-winning costume designer Holly Waddington for the George Lanthimos film Poor Things, as worn by Emma Stone (Bella Baxter), Willem Dafoe (Godwin Baxter), Mark Ruffalo (Duncan Wedderburn), Ramy Youssef (Max McCandles), Vicki Pepperdine (Mrs Prim), Kathryn Hunter (Swiney) and Jerrod Carmichael (Harry Astley).
The exhibition “Poor Things: The Costumes” at the Benaki Museum highlights the extraordinary costumes of a recent and multi-awarded international film. The exhibition was also presented at the Barbican Center in London (2023).
