Join Filmshop House on September 6 for the work-in-progress screening of Weaving: Stockholm through the Eyes of Ukrainian Refugees (Weaving), a 10-minute short documentary directed by Hsuan Yu Pan.
The film follows Belarusian-Swedish visual artist Ludmila Christeseva and her efforts to help Ukrainian refugee women rebuild their lives in Sweden after fleeing the war. Through craft, art, and shared stories, Ludmila creates a healing space rooted in sisterhood and resilience.
Throughout September, FilmShop House will also feature a showcase of Ludmila’s “Solidarity Net”—a powerful, collaborative art piece that embodies community and connection.
