Dolly Parton transformed fashion into a declaration of identity, confidence, and creativity. From her unmistakable silhouettes to her signature sparkle, every look reflects an artist who has always embraced authenticity on her own terms. These two ensembles celebrate the style that became synonymous with one of music's most influential voices, demonstrating how Dolly used fashion not only to entertain but also to inspire, challenge expectations, and leave an enduring mark on culture. As part of DIVA, these garments honor the artistry and individuality that continue to define her remarkable legacy.
Joining The Denver Art Museum for a special discussion, two longtime team members from the Dolly Archive will discuss how they helped curate the *New York Times* best-selling book *Behind The Seams, My Life In Rhinestones By Dolly Parton* and their journey to modernize and renovate the Dolly Parton Archive into the institution it is becoming today. Rebecca Seaver, Executive Director of the upcoming Dolly's Life Of Many Colors Museum and Christian Ferguson, Chief Historian and Archivist for the Dolly Parton Archive will give an in-depth talk on their extensive work with Dolly and her archive collection spanning seven decades of her career.
