Material drawings of hair and found cloth include horizontal progressions that extend from the accumulated thread tension in Wilson’s last walking performance at The Drawing Center. Text and textile, back-side practice works, body into culture — embracing human capacities of persistence in making and remaking, in building and rebuilding in a political and cultural context of violence, destruction and trauma.
