Weaving as Journaling Workshop
Online over Zoom on Thursdays January 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 12pm-2pm EST
Intertwine Arts is offering a free public weaving workshop for the New Year, intended for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and their family and caregivers.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to prepare a loom using simple materials that you can find at home. The teaching artist will guide the group through personal reflections, and connect those feelings with weaving choices. Then each person will create a tapestry that creatively documents their thoughts. We will weave to relax, to express ourselves, to find community, and with the philosophy that there is no such thing as a mistake! Everyone will walk away with a piece of woven art.
Please register at this link.
