Events
TSA maintains a public calendar of textile-related exhibitions, lectures, symposia, workshops, and other events. Both virtual and in-person events are accepted. You do not have to be a member of TSA in order to submit your event for possible inclusion in the Event List. Submissions are posted at the discretion of the Textile Society of America. Please share your events with us!
We ask that all events meet the following guidelines.
Event submission guidelines
- Event should take place, or be ongoing, at least 2 weeks out from the time of the listing submission.
- Event is not primarily commercial / for profit or a product for sale (like a paid workshop or a book available for sale)
- Event is in line with TSA’s anti-racism and equity work. TSA is committed to the pursuit of equity and to becoming an anti-racist organization. We will not list events that include xenophobic, racist, colonialist, ethnocentric, ableist, sexist, mysogynoiristic, homophobic, or transphobic language or images.
Opportunities
TSA posts a variety of opportunities in the textiles field including information on national and international symposium calls for papers, jobs and internships, residencies, and calls for art.
If you have an opportunity to share with the TSA community, please submit a job description and/or a link to a public posting. Images are not necessary for opportunities. Submissions are posted at the discretion of the Textile Society of America.
