Call Description
You are invited to submit artwork utilizing any textile- or fiber-based techniques to Intertwined 2025: Contemporary Southeast Fiber Art, a survey of the best contemporary fiber art in the Southeast. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of content, materials, and techniques, with common threads of craftsmanship and passion.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists working in one or more fiber techniques and living in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
LOCATION: Turner Center for the Arts, 527 North Patterson St., Valdosta, GA 31601.
CALENDAR:
June 20, 2025 – Call opens
August 20, 2025 – Entry Deadline
October 1, 2025 – Notification of acceptance via email
November 3 – 6, 2025 – Timeline for hand delivery of accepted work
November 6, 2025 – Deadline for delivery of accepted work
November 10, 2025 – Turner Center for the Arts Exhibition Opens and Opening Reception 5-7 pm
January 7, 2026 – Turner Center for the Arts Exhibition Closes
January 8-9, 2026– Pickup/return of exhibited work
AWARDS: The jurors will select the following awards:
1st Place – $800
2nd Place – $500
3rd Place – $300
Two Honorable Mentions – Ribbons
ENTRY FEE: $35 per entry.
