medi Manufacturing is a market leader in the manufacturing of medical devices and is looking for folks ready to operate in a professional and clean environment to service medi’s expanding business needs. We are looking for a 1st Shift Sewing Mechanic.
The Sewing Mechanic sets up, adjusts, and repairs sewing machines according to specifications by performing duties:
- Observes operation of machine and examines seams to detect defects.
- Repairs and replaces machine parts, using hand tools
- Aligns and straightens needles and loopers using pliers
- Maintains yarn parts inventory, and other parts when needed
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must have reliable transportation. Must be motivated, attention to detail, and love working for a great company!
