CHAT Research Grant
The CHAT Research Grant aims to encourage researchers from around the globe to investigate issues and highlight narratives relating to the textile manufacturing histories of Hong Kong and beyond.
The successful applicant of the grant is entitled to receive a HK$60,000 (Hong Kong Dollars Sixty Thousand) research grant for completing a Research Paper and Presentation to CHAT’s appointed jury by the end of March, 2024. CHAT welcomes transregional perspectives and cross-disciplinary approaches that highlight under-discussed narratives in Hong Kong’s textile industrial history.
CHAT invites independent scholars, researchers, archivists, writers and postgraduate students capable of conducting independent research to apply. Selection will be conducted by CHAT’s assigned scholars, professional researchers as well as CHAT’s curatorial team.
