The Avenir Conservation Center of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is actively expanding staffing and resources. The textile conservator will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with conservation and curatorial colleagues to envision and guide development of textile conservation capacity and projects. The conservator will carry out the technical analysis and conservation of the museum’s textile and related collections, and will support the development and operations of the Avenir Conservation Center. Particular strengths of the anthropology collections include Native North American textiles, archaeological textiles from South America, and basketry. $55-59,000.00 + benefits
