We are seeking an Artist in Residence for our Fibers department. AIR enjoy free living quarters, shared and private studio space, exhibition and other professional development opportunities in return for teaching classes and maintaining studios. Length of residency is one year; position open until filled.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable warping 4 shaft table and floor looms, understanding and using weaving drafts, and have some familiarity with traditional weave structures and techniques. Preference will be shown to those with teaching experience, especially teaching individuals with disabilities.
