First International Cristóbal Balenciaga Conference Call for Papers
Proposal submissions due January 5, 2020
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the birth of Cristóbal Balenciaga on 21 January 2020, the Balenciaga Foundation and the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum wish to organise a series of events as a tribute to the great Master of Getaria.
These events include the first International Cristóbal Balenciaga Conference to be held at the museum on 1 and 2 October 2020.
This academic conference, which will have an international presence, aims to be the plat-form to present innovative and quality research proposals and papers on the designer’s image and legacy.
