The Brandford/Elliott Award for Excellence in Fiber Art is presented at the Textile Society of America’s Biennial Symposium Banquet by the Brandford/Elliott Award Board. The award honors the late fiber artists Joanne Segal Brandford and Lillian Elliott and supports the work of contemporary fiber artists. Oversight of the award process was transferred in 2020 from the Brandford/Elliott Board to the Textile Society of America.
