The Textile Society of America is soliciting nominations for the Board of Directors. Board positions open for the next election cycle include the Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Director of Communications, Director of Awards and Scholarships, and several Directors-at-Large serving on committees including Nominations and Elections, Symposium, Finance, Advancement, Membership and Engagement, and Strategic Planning. We look for a Board with geographic and professional diversity, representing a broad range of membership interests. Board memberships are for a term of two-years, with responsibilities beginning in January 2027.
TSA’s Nominations and Elections Committee consists of two Board members and three members-at-large. The Committee will review nominations and prepare a proposed slate of candidates in accordance with TSA’s bylaws and election procedures. Following announcement of the proposed slate, eligible members will have an opportunity to propose alternative candidates before the election ballot is finalized.

- August 19 – Nominations open; call for candidates announced
- September 19 – Nominations close
- October 8 – Colloquium / Members Meeting: Proposed slate announced
- October 22–29 – Election period
- November 5 – Election results announced
- December 14 – Board orientation
- January 1, 2027 – New terms begin
